The 1932 Ford. This cars has something magical. I can't cal a '32 "it", they were all beautiful ladies when rolled out of the production line. Some few had luck, and remained in the original condition. Others had a painful dead on the hands of hot rodders. Today, a popular car like the '32, in original condition can cost up to 165 thousand Dollars. Of course there are mega-buck ridiculous hot rods made with original cars, and the owners should be all on jail. Today there are very good replicas, and there is no more excuse for ruining a '32 Ford.
I love everything about the '32 Ford V8, from the 65 hp Flathead engine, to the mechanical brakes.
The Three Window Coupe is a dream car for me, but only if 100% factory stock. Sometimes I dream about having a car like this, and on my dreams, she has a Henry Ford's signature on the glove compartment box. My dream girl would be a mint unrestored black Three Window Coupe, with the V8 engine, and red wheels. No whitewall tires, or add ons of any kind.

This beauty was for sale on E-Bay some time ago. Even though I'm not a convertible fan, this one I would like to own. With the steel wheels, caps and whitewalls. I think that a wheel larger than 15" is out of place on a 60's car. It looks bad.

The car is very straight and very restorable.
Someone took the dash apart, probably searching for parts.
The original interior is still there
The 292 V8 engine is also still there.
The hood hingues colapsed when someone tried to open the hood. That's what rust do.

This car is the best looking vehicle ever made. This fact may be, ironically, the reason you can't find a decent one. All are destroyed by hot roders. People think they can do better than Henry Ford. Among all things you can do wrong with a '32, the worse is installing a non Ford engine. If you have an original car, V8 60 Flathead and all, congratulations, it's probably the only one, and the beautifulest one still in existence.
The four bangers model B are nice too, but the V8 is magic.

Please if you want to build a hot rod, go for a replica, don't ruin a beautiful '32 Ford. Its so hard to find a decent original car.
I like Hot Rods, but the '32 is some kind of a dying species. All are Hots. The most well done a Hot can be, the original is always far, far, far superior.

In 1966 a total of 231 full sized Fords were built with the 427-2x4 carburetion, 425 HP engines. Out of the 231 total, 38-7-Litres were built, 36 Hard tops, and only 2 convertibles. This car, along with a black with red interior are the only two ever built and are considered as the rarest and most valuable 7-Litres in the world, according to the 1966 7-Litre registry. Fully optioned with 427-8V, 425 HP, top loader 4 speed, electric windows, 6 way power seat, AM/FM radio with rear seat speaker, reclining passenger seat, special order paint, etc. Frame off restoration in the early 90's. It was on display at the Floyd Garrett Museum in Sevierville Tennessee from 1993-2008. 60,000 Actual miles and only driven less than 10 miles in 20 years. One of the rarest examples of Fords Total Performance Era.

This model was build just after the Galaxies. I did't paint it the factory correct color, but I used a close match. On the interior, I respected the color divisions but again choosed my own color combinations.

I built this two AMT kits last year. They are nice looking models but not professional builds. Some colors on the chassis are not quite right, and I think the Ford blue on the engines ere not what it's supposed to be. I have another kit, and on this one I'm gonna correct the flaws.

1965 Custom 500 2-door sedan R-Code. 1 of 3 sedans known to exist. It is estimated that just over 200 total R-Code Galaxies were built, including 11 convertibles (as per Mustang & Fords magazine-Feb. 99) in 1965. 427 engine with two 4 barrel carbs. 4 speed toploader. 3:50 axle ratio that is all correct and original to the car.
I loved the color, remember a little the Libra Gold from my galaxie.

1966 Galaxie 500 XL - R-Code Survivor (unrestored). 1 of 49 R-Code, 427 - 425HP XL full size Fords were built in 1966. Original Ivy Green Metallic paint. Original interior. Original drive train with 1 rebuild on the engine. Driven very little since rebuild. 69,000 actual documented miles. Numbers matching, documented. Runs and Drives excellent. Factory 427 full size Fords built between 1965-1967 are some of the rarest and lowest production cars Ford built during it's Total Performance Era.

This would be a great addition to any Galaxie lover collection or for some one that collects rare and unusual Fords. With this car being 1 of 49 produced.

This pristine car was for sale some time ago by a top dealer. I couldn't resist and saved this pictures. The car smells new even on pictures!
Although I like the convertible, the hardtop is my all time favorite. The basic design introduced in 1965, wad destroying the competition again in 1966.

This immaculate Galaxie is a fine exemple of the rare 7 Litre Convertible version.
In 1966 Ford carried on the tradition of extreme well designed cars with all models, but the Galaxie was the best they'v ever done. Every line is perfect, every proportion is correct, and the engines were and still are the best your money can buy.
